A peek inside the Water Ski Experience Hall of Fame and Museum
The Water Ski Experience Hall of Fame and Museum is a smaller attraction that can be a challenge to visit.
It’s located next to I-4, about half-way between Tampa and Orlando. It’s normally open weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s common to travel between Tampa and Orlando early morning and late night, or on weekends and holidays when the museum is closed. So many locals and visitors have seen this attractive blue building from I-4 many times, but never get to see what’s inside. Here’s a peek, through a quick set of photos.
The largest of the exhibits is the history of water skiing.
World champions and trophies are featured here.
There’s several showcases about the evolution of ski equipment.
Many worldwide attractions and entertainers are also profiled in the exhibits.
The Water Ski Experience Hall of Fame and Museum is interesting to see. Avid skiers (water as well as snow) will love the history. If you aren’t a skier, you might leave the museum thinking you ought to give it a try.
