Ahoy! Pirate and Princess Weekends set sail at Orlando’s Gaylord Palms Resort
Pirate and Princess Weekends have officially begun at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, with some exciting new additions. Guests of all ages are welcome to embrace their inner buccaneer every weekend now through March 7, 2021.
The all-new Pirate Outpost Invasion show makes its debut at Pirate and Princess Weekends. Would-be pirates can enjoy the swashbuckling tales and tunes straight from Princess Orangeblossom and friends while sipping on Captain’s Brew, a tasty butterscotch beverage.
Throughout the interactive experience, guests will become real-life pirates (with a seal of approval and new pirate names for authenticity).
The show ends in the new Pirate Speakeasy, where guests can enjoy an assortment of themed drinks, both alcoholic and kid-friendly. Our favorite was the Starlight Princess cocktail, which was both sparkly and delicious. An interactive pirate bust tells jokes and interacts with all pirate patrons as they enjoy their brew of choice.
Returning weekend events include the Pirate Pool Party, Princess Academy and Adventure Kids: Join The Club.
Daily themed activities are also available at the resort. Embark on Princess Orangeblossom’s Shiny Stash Treasure Hunt and receive a surprise prize once you complete it. Explorers can also enjoy the Wildlife Rescue Experience presented by bubly to learn about endangered animals. The Pirate & Princess Light Display runs daily as well, featuring dazzling imagery and lights.
Masks are required in all public areas at Gaylord Palms Resort. To ensure social distancing, reservations are also required for the Pirate Outpost Invasion show, which runs every 10 minutes.
