Alohomora! Harry Potter New York’s online store is officially open
Harry Potter New York won’t open until 2021, but fans can already have the magic of the Wizarding World delivered to their doors, from Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans to personalized Hogwarts House robes and a Luna Lovegood Loungefly backpack.
Located in the heart of New York City, Harry Potter New York will be the first official Wizarding World flagship store with the most extensive collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products in the world, as well as magical photo opportunities and rare collectibles.
Among the store’s exclusive items is the MACUSA collection. This magical collection features apparel and accessories celebrating the wizarding government from “Fantastic Beasts and Where the Find Them.” It features the MACUSA emblem and Threat Detector to help any witch or wizard fit in at the Magical Congress of the United States.
Just in time for the holidays, fans can also shop from a brand-new collection of Celebration wands featuring magical creatures like Newt Scamander’s bowtruckle, Pickett; Professor Dumbledore’s loyal phoenix, Fawkes; and the mysterious Thestral that is only visible to those who have witnessed death.
The Celebration collection also includes wands inspired by some of the Wizarding World’s most iconic symbols such as the four Hogwarts house mascots and the infamous Horcruxes – including the sword of Gryffindor. And who wouldn’t want to wield an exclusive Golden Snitch wand?
