Aquatica, SeaWorld Orlando’s first water park, officially opened today, March 1, 2008. Aquatica brings colorful (and wet) entertainment to Orlando with South Pacific flair. With a wide variety of water slides, splash zones, and plenty of places to relax, Aquatica is a must-see for water park fans. There are water slides for all ages, from children looking to try one out for the first time to adults wanting to race each other. There’s even a water tube that takes guests traveling through a tank filled with Commerson’s dolphins, which resemble SeaWorld’s killer whale mascot, Shamu.

But enough words… see it for yourself! We were at Aquatica for its opening morning with cameras in-hand.

  1. So where is the in ride film…lol
I would REALLY like to see footage as you slide through the clear tube that goes through the dolphin pool.
It really is brilliant and I am happy that you guys now have the kind of waterpark rides that we got a couple years back at White Water World because they are GREAT!!! The vortex style one is so much fun.

  2. Their “might” be video soon… I don’t know what they have planned for the opening at all… though their is some sort of live video opportunity at the grand opening for media…
