Aquaticar underwater ride opening at Aquarabia in 2025
Aquaticar, the world’s first fully submersible underwater ride, will open at the new Aquarabia water theme park in 2025.
April 2026 update, Aquaticar® – Legend of the Glowing Guardians is the name of this attraction. It is now open.
Aquarabia Water Park, Opening 2025
Aquarabia, announced for the first time today, will be located in Saudi Arabia and adjacent to Six Flags Qiddiya City, also opening in 2025. The water park will feature architecture and attractions themed to desert wellsprings and Qiddiya’s wildlife.
Aquarabia’s lineup will contain several world records:
- World’s tallest water slide
- World’s tallest drop body slide
- World’s tallest water coaster
- World’s longest mat racer
Aquaticar Underwater Ride
The Aquaticar ride system, the world’s first fully submersible ride, will make its global debut at Aquarabia.
We got a sneak peek of the Aquaticar at IAAPA 2023:
“This announcement marks a significant milestone for Qiddiya City and for the entertainment, tourism, and sports sector,” said Abdullah Aldawood, managing director of Qiddiya Investment Company. “As we keep expanding our entertainment offering, Aquarabia and Six Flags Qiddiya City will fulfill the diverse entertainment needs of our community, contribute to the diversification of our economy, and create job opportunities in the tourism sector.”
Six Flags Qiddiya City
Aquarabia will be neighbors with Six Flags Qiddiya City, first announced in 2019 and the first Six Flags location outside of North America. Six Flags Qiddiya City will be home to Falcon’s Flight, slated to be the tallest and fastest roller coaster on the planet.
