Aquazoid Amped will make a big splash at Water Country USA
Aquazoid Amped will amp up the water park experience in May 2022 at Water Country USA in Williamsburg, Va., with an all-new immersive twist on the fan-favorite water ride.
As Aquazoid Amped riders plunge through 864 feet of fully enclosed, twisting tube at speeds of 20 feet per second, they’ll experience all-new special effects and sudden splashes, pulse-pounding music, and a variety of dynamic light shows courtesy of 59 color-changing rings, making each ride a different experience.
“Aquazoid Amped encompasses the ultimate experience for our guests,” said park President Kevin Lembke. “From the exhilarating lights and soundtrack to the enhanced water thrills, this is a perfect complement to our park’s attraction portfolio and highlights our dedication to providing new experiences and making our award-winning park even better.”
Other fan-favorite slides and water rides at Water Country USA include Colossal Curl, Big Daddy Falls, and Cutback Water Coaster — the only RocketBlast coaster on the East Coast.
Guests who purchase a Two Park Fun Card can “Scream Now, Splash Later” with free visits through Howl-O-Scream. Plus, they get unlimited visits at Busch Gardens Williamsburg from Jan. 8 to Sept. 5, 2022, and Water Country USA from May 21 to Sept. 5, 2022.
