Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Area15 is home to popular experiences such as Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, “Wink World: Portals Into The Infinite,” Rise elevated bar, Illuminarium, and a vast array of art, attractions, dining locations, and live entertainment.

Starting February 3, the entertainment district, located next to Art Island, adds slow-moving observation tower, Liftoff, to the lineup.

The high-altitude, triple-helix lift ride starts at the full-service Liftoff Lounge, inspired by “aeronauts and aviators seeking the exhilaration of flight.” Riders can enjoy an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink in the open-air lounge, or “imbibe-and-ride” by taking their libation with them to the top of the tower.

Then, guests are strapped into one of 16 seats on the tower’s gondola before ascending to the 130-foot summit, with their feet dangling free.

As they make the trip to the top, guests will experience lighting and sound effects integrated into their seats, creating a fully immersive rise-to-the-sky.

The ascent takes 7 minutes, during which the gondola makes a full 360-degree rotation, providing phenomenal views of the Vegas skyline, and beyond.

The attraction is family-friendly (imbibe-and-ride with an alcoholic beverage is for ages 21 and up only), and tickets start at $12 for children (must be at least 42-inches tall), and $18 for adults.

Those who would like to take an alcoholic drink up the tower with them can choose a beverage package, starting at $26.

The attraction was manufactured by Aerophile, world leader in balloon flight makers of the Aerophile tethered balloon in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.

Liftoff will be the first of its kind built in the U.S.A.

Pre-sale tickets for Liftoff are available now. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit Area15.com.
