Art auction to be held Saturday to benefit Imagineering designer

Fans of custom-made Vinylmations will have the chance to take home some special figures at a charity art auction, while helping out an artist recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Dan Colonna, a resident of Winter Garden and design consultant for Walt Disney Imagineering, was diagnosed with glioblastoma earlier this year. This special auction, benefiting Colonna, will feature original works, prints and dimensional pieces from a variety of artists in Central Florida. All of the proceeds generated from the auction will go to Colonna and his family.

The auction will be held this Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Winter Garden Art Association. The address is 127 S Boyd St., Winter Garden, Fla. More info about the auction can be found on Facebook and Tumblr.
