It’s the spookiest time of year, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is getting ready for Halloween in Hawai’i with pumpkins and palm trees as the happy haunts of the season are making their way to the resort this October.
Aulani Resort guests can enjoy more-friendly-than-frightful fun on select dates throughout October.
Some of these offerings include the Halloween Aloha-Style Dance Party, where both kids and adults can dress up and head to the Hālāwai Lawn for crafts, games, face painting and dancing with Disney friends. If movies are more their style, guests can enjoy a family-friendly Halloween film under the stars on the Hālāwai Lawn with ‘Ohana Disney Halloween Movie Nights.
As the actual haunted holiday approaches, guests can have even more frightful fun with Keiki Pumpkin Decorating, where younger guests can pick out their own mini pumpkins from the Pau Hana Pumpkin Patch and take part in no-carve decorating.
Guests and Disney Vacation Club Members staying at Aulani Resort for the evening can pick up a “treasure” map at the Hālāwai Lawn and trick-or-treat at specific locations throughout the resort on Oct. 31.
Premium Halloween festivities are also available to guests at Aulani, which require an additional charge. Guests can enter the ‘Ohana Disney Pumpkin Carving Contest where their carved creation will be on display in the Pau Hana room for other guests to view and vote for their favorite. Prizes will be awarded to the winners during the Halloween Dance Party on Oct. 31.
For something a little sweeter, try an interactive Halloween Cookie Decorating demonstration with an Aulani Chef, where guests can learn decorating tips and tricks – and then get to eat their creation!
Guests can also check out the Daily ‘Iwa for a full schedule of holiday offerings, as well as details for a Hau’oli Lā Heleuī, or a Happy Halloween!
