The series also went on to include two sequels, and a Broadway musical complete with a flying car. Despite it being a decade after the year 2015, and the hoverboard still not being a real thing, these movies won the hearts of so many people everywhere. It was a well-earned success.

If you’ve somehow managed to avoid this classic, there has never been a better time to watch. This movie follows Marty McFly, a teen from 1985 who accidentally ends up in the year 1955 thanks to his friend Doc Brown and Doc’s DeLorean that runs on plutonium. Now stuck going to high school with his parents, Marty has to find a way to get back to the future while also not erasing himself from existence.
