Bier Fest returns to Busch Gardens Williamsburg with over 100 beers on tap Aug. 16

Bier Fest is back to bring summer to a close this year at Busch Gardens Williamsburg with new beer selections, music, and food offerings.

The annual festival will return with more than 100 beers, including new taps throughout the event, talks from popular craft breweries, live local bands and traditional German food.

The event runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Aug. 16 – Sept. 2. Beer bars located throughout the park will offer unique draft and bottled beers from around the world, including a large selection from Virginia-based craft breweries. The event is free with park admission, and beer is available for guests age 21 and older for an additional fee.

This year’s German menu features returning favorites like turkey legs and beer-battered bratwurst, as well as new offerings like a bratwurst burger slider and pretzel bites with beer cheese and bacon. Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Burgermeister will host a firkin keg tapping ceremony on Fridays during the event.
