Blue Man Group co-founder opens Wink World in Las Vegas

Blue Man Group co-founder Chris Wink has opened a new, immersive entertainment experience, Wink World: Portals into the Infinite, at AREA15 in Las Vegas. Meant to open back in September, the psychedelic 1,500-square-foot art house opened on Jan. 7.

Blending Wink’s passion for art, stage effects and blacklight, the experience has six infinity mirror rooms, each one showing its very own stunning production. Ceiling fans turn into moving art and children’s toys transform into line dancers in this trippy artistic experience.

“Wink World will be a manifestation of my lifelong fascination with the transcendent power of the playful interaction of light, color and music,” Wink said. “I’m delighted to introduce everyone to this brand new, multi-sensory art and entertainment concept.”

Tickets are $18 for adults and $13.50 for children. Locals with a Nevada ID pay $14.50 for adults and $11 for children. Discounts for seniors and military personnel are also available. All prices include ChromaDepth 3-D glasses. For more information, click here.
