The show originally opened in 2007, replacing Nickelodeon Studios, and offered attendees a colorful, high-energy and humor-filled performance as you’d expect from the Blue Man Group.

As of the time of writing, only Universal Orlando’s show is closing; shows in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago and Boston are expected to reopen once it is safe to do so.

Universal Orlando has not shared what will become of the Blue Man Group theater as a result of this closure, but we will keep you updated should any plans or future additions be announced.

  1. Disappointing news. The Blue Man show was always the first thing we went to when returning to US-O.
It always got the vacation started off right. While nothing is permanent at the parks, I do hope they can replace it with something equally as entertaining.
