Celebrate Mardi Gras and “let the good times roll” at Busch Gardens Williamsburg with a new parade and new food.
Busch Gardens Mardi Gras takes place Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Feb. 26, 2023 — and on one Monday, Presidents Day, Feb. 20, 2023. The Mardi Gras entertainment is included with regular park admission, so guests can enjoy plenty of rides during their visit, from Verbolten to Finnegan’s Flyers. Unfortunately, the park’s newest coaster, Pantheon, which opened in 2022, is closed for the season.
New Parade for the Party
New for 2023, Busch Gardens Williamsburg will debut “Mardi Street Party.” The park describes the production as an “exciting new parade full of dazzling ribbon dancers and stunning still walkers.” Guests can catch the procession in the park’s France village.
The crowd favorite acrobatic show, “Carnaval Imaginique,” returns from previous years. Other park-wide entertainment includes a jazz band and jester drummers.
Come Hungry for New Orleans Eats
Busch Gardens Mardi Gras has over 30 new food items on its menu for 2023. Guests can find the selections throughout the entire park. Among the new bites are specialty beignets and an oyster po’ boy, and new sips include a passion fruit hurricane and a Cajun Bloody Mary.
Guests can purchase a sampler lanyard, good for any Mardi Gras kiosk in the park. Five punches is $40 and 10 punches is $60.
Mardi Gras guests who expect to return to Busch Gardens Williamsburg later in the year may want to consider the park’s specials. Currently, guests who purchase a one-day 2-Park Fun Card receive unlimited admission through Sept. 4, 2023, to both Busch Gardens Williamsburg and its adjacent water park, Water Country USA.
Mardi Gras guests can also upgrade their one-day ticket to a 12-month membership to save up to $35. For more information, visit Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s website.
