World-renowned animal expert “Jungle Jack” Hanna is back for another Wild Weekend at SeaWorld Orlando on August 20 and 21, when he will share animal facts and stories during interactive presentations inside the Nautilus Theater.
Guests can see Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo in a whole new light at Sunset Celebration, which keeps the attraction open till 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays July 8-August 6 with dining, entertainment and animal encounters throughout the park.
Now that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is open after dark, the park is offering guests another African-themed up-charge option as the sun goes down with the new Savor The Savanna: Evening Safari Experience.
World-renowned marine artist and conservationist Guy Harvey will host Mako’s queue line video and paint a mural for the ride’s debut as part of his new partnership with SeaWorld Parks, focused on raising awareness about ocean health and researching the plight of sharks in the wild.
Merlin’s Sea Life Orlando aquarium at the Orlando Eye has hatched a new attraction with the opening of Turtle Fest, a new interactive exhibit paying tribute to turtles, tortoises and terrapins. The family-friendly exhibit features several new reptiles, including the Diamondback Terrapin, Northern Red-bellied Cooter, the Australian snake-necked turtle and more.
If you can’t run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. Well, after the successful record-breaking attempt today, we’d all just better stay on the porch.
Guests at SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove can take a dive to defend aquatic ecology, because the park is now donating 5 percent of proceeds from the SeaVenture program to Rising Tide Conservation for the support of ocean reefs.
