After months of anticipation, Orlando Cat Café held a special Open House for media and Grand Opening celebration on September 8, and Attractions Magazine was there to capture the following furry footage:

Orlando Cat Café now open

As you can see, Orlando Cat Café is a coffee and pastry shop serving Axum coffee, combined with a 900 square foot Cat Play Area/Adoption Area with 12 to 15 cats roaming freely. The cat café has a separate entrance to comply with health and food safety compliance guidelines. You can also choose to watch the playful antics through a viewing window into the Cat Play Area.
The cat café concept has been gaining popularity across the United States, and Orlando Cat Café is the first of its kind to open in Central Florida. The cafe is operated in partnership with Animal League and Axum Coffee.

The Orlando Cat Café is located at 532 Cagan Park Avenue, Suites 201-202 in the Town Center at Cagan Crossings in Clermont, about 4 miles west of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Café hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Cat Play/Adoption Area hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily.
