Thrill ride fans will be unleashed in Louisville this weekend as Kentucky Kingdom premieres Storm Chaser, a unique steel roller coaster from Rocky Mountain Construction.
The movie and theme park industries were rocked today when Comcast, parent company of NBC and Universal Studios, announced it was acquiring Dreamworks Animation — home of Shrek and Kung Fu Panda — for $3.8 billion dollars.
DreamWorks Animation, which creates animated feature films, television series and specials, live entertainment and related consumer products, will become part of the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, which includes Universal Pictures, Fandango, and NBCUniversal Brand Development.
