Celebrate 25th anniversary of ‘A Goofy Movie’ with D23
D23 is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the animated classic, “A Goofy Movie” with a virtual road trip, leading up to a special viewing party!
This week, from April 5-10, fans can expect videos, articles, and more to celebrate the classic film, along with the following lineup of events:
On Friday, April 10, fans can “toon” in at 7:30 p.m. Eastern/4:30 p.m. Pacific for “A Goofy Reunion: 25 Years of A Goofy Movie.” This virtual viewing party will celebrate the film with never-before-heard stories from members of the film’s cast and creative team, including:
- Bill Farmer, voice of Goofy
- Jason Marsden, voice of Max
- Jenna von Oy, voice of Stacey
- Jim Cummings, voice of Pete
- Kevin Lima, director
- Jymn Magon, writer
- Bambi Moë, music producer
- David Z. Rivkin, music producer
At 8 p.m. Eastern that night, everyone can join in together to watch “A Goofy Movie” on Disney+, play along on virtual bingo cards, live tweet with fellow fans, and check out behind-the-scenes exclusives along the way.
Originally, D23 was set to host a special “On the Open Roadshow” featuring the film, but due to ongoing global health concerns, that event was canceled.
