Celebrate summer at Knott’s Berry Farm

Beginning May 26, 2023, guests can celebrate ¡Viva la Fiesta! in Fiesta Village, with updated rides, themed cuisine and decor, live entertainment, and a nighttime street party.

The celebration showcases Hispanic influences in Southern California throughout the day and into the night. Guests can celebrate by enjoying Mariachi music, hearing a storyteller tell whimsical tales of the alebrijes, and enjoying a traditional Folklorico dance performance. There will also be interactive puppets, newly-landscaped alebrije gardens, and spirit animal friends that guests can meet. 

Once the sun sets, Calle Celebración begins. The immersive nighttime street party takes place throughout the Fiesta Village to celebrate Mexican traditions of family, love, and community through color, music, dancing, and giant colorful puppets.

Enjoy ¡Viva la Fiesta! cuisine

Guests can enjoy burritos, birria quesadillas, and signature tamales at Knott’s Berry Farm’s new restaurant called Casa California. At Cantina Del Sur, guests can find themed drinks (or bebidas) to pair with the fish tacos from the new Baja Taqueria. Papas Mexicanas will once again have a variety of toppings for crispy french fries, including the carne asada fries. 

This year, the Flavors of Summer tasting card includes Sabor de Fiesta food festival booths in Fiesta Village, which will serve items such as potato and chorizo tacos, micheladas, and elotes.

Authentic merchandise and newly-refreshed rides

Fiesta Mercado will have many themed souvenirs, many of which are inspired by Los Angeles’ Olvera Street (the inspiration for Fiesta Mercado). Other items include Chamoy candies, hot sauces and queso, as well as personalized parasols and colorful zarapes.

Refreshed rides in Fiesta Village include Los Voladores, which allows guests to fly through the air, and Carrusel de California features 48 hand-carved animals. 

MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress will not open with Fiesta Village this summer, An opening date has not been scheduled at this time.

Ghost Town Alive! is back at Knott’s Berry Farm

The interactive Ghost Town Alive! will also be returning this summer, giving guests an opportunity to star in an action-packed, Old West themed, storyline in the streets of Ghost Town.

Guests can unlock secret missions with characters, influence the day’s events, and take on mind-challenging puzzles. Ghost Town Alive! will offer new adventures, roles, and characters this summer on select days starting May 26, 2023.

Knott’s Berry Farm Summer Nights

On select nights, Knott’s Summer Nights transforms Calico Park into a neighborhood party, including two stages showcasing bands from the local music scene.

In addition to live music, there will also be family-friendly games, and summer dishes with a twist, from Sea Salt Caramel Iced Coffee, to BLTA Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps and Mexican Pineapple Pork Sandwiches. 

Knott’s Soak City is also opening this Summer

Beginning select dates May 20 – Sept. 10, 2023, Knott’s Soak City Waterpark will offer rides and attractions of varying thrill levels, from an interactive kid’s area to the rip-roaring “The Wedge” raft ride.

The 15-acre water park gives guests the chance to ride down 23 different speed, tube, and body slides, but those who prefer to relax can also take a trip down one of the longest lazy rivers in the country.
