“A Flashback 4th of July” will send the town of Celebration back in time to the ’80s and feature a costume contest, a concert by A Flock of Seagulls, a fireworks show set to ’80s musical hits, and an interactive Kids Zone. Additional music will be offered by KattyShack and the Dixieland Jazz Band.
The event lasts from 5 to 11 p.m. on Monday, July 4. A schedule of the entire day’s events is listed below:
9 a.m. – July 4th Parade
5 p.m. – Free Park and Ride Shuttle Service Begins (215 Celebration Place)
5:30 p.m. – Event Opens
6 p.m. – KattyShack performs
8:15 p.m. – 1980s Costume Contest
8:30 p.m. – A Flock of Seagulls performs
9 p.m. – ’80s themed Fireworks
10 p.m. – KattyShack performs
11 p.m. – Event Closes
