Here are the characters you need to know about before visiting Black Spire Outpost:

Hondo Ohnaka

hondo ohnaka

First seen in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” this Weequay space pirate has turned over a new leaf and established a “legitimate” business on Batuu called “Ohnaka Transport Solutions.” This shipping organization transports hard-to-find-items across the galaxy, and they’re always looking for new recruits. On Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, travelers can help Hondo transport some very precious cargo.

Vi Moradi

galaxy's edge

One of General Leia Organa’s top Resistance spies, Vi Moradi is scouring Batuu for Resistance support. Travelers can find her out and about throughout the day – just don’t tell the stormtroopers you saw her.

Rey and Chewbacca

Resistance hero Rey can be seen around Black Spire Outpost throughout the day with Chewbacca, searching for new recruits.

Kylo Ren and his First Order Officer

The Supreme Leader himself can occasionally be spotted in Black Spire Outpost, on the search for a Resistance spy hiding out on the planet. He’ll be more than willing to demonstrate the power and strength of the First Order, should you be unsure of where your loyalties lie.

First Order Stormtroopers

Just arrived on Batuu, First Order stormtroopers can be found patrolling the streets, ensuring the safety and compliance of civilians.

Dok-Ondar

dok-ondar

This Ithorian is a collector of all sorts of galactic artifacts. He buys, sells and trades his valuables in his antiquities shop in the Black Spire Outpost marketplace. Dok-Ondar is also known as the ‘gatekeeper’ of the black market in Black Spire, so locals know never to cross him. Travelers who visit his shop will find him working away at his desk and barking the occasional order at his assistants.

Savi

Savi is the proprietor of Savi’s Scrapyard, a front for the secret Savi’s Workshop, where Force-sensitives of all ages are led in crafting their own lightsabers by the Gatherers. Savi was one of the original Gatherers and a friend to Lor San Tekka, who was briefly seen at the beginning of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Oga Garra

oga garra

The one and only Blutopian crime boss of Black Spire Outpost, Oga Garra is a mysterious and never-seen (but often heard) figure. She runs Oga’s Cantina, the main watering hole on Batuu. Oga’s fingers are intertwined in nearly every business transaction, and she always knows who’s coming and going in Black Spire. Trust us, you don’t want to get on her bad side.

DJ R-3X

galaxy's edge

The former Star Tours pilot droid known as “Rex” crash-landed on Batuu and was reprogrammed into a DJ by Mubo over at the Droid Depot. Unfortunately for the droid, Mubo sold off Rex to Oga Garra to pay a debt, and now “DJ R-3X” provides the musical entertainment inside Oga’s Cantina.

The Gatherers

galaxy's edge

These ‘keepers of the Force’ are a group of men and women dedicating to restoring balance in the galaxy by passing on their knowledge of the most elegant weapon in history: the lightsaber. Their goal is to guide the next generation of Force-users in crafting their own sabers.

Zabaka

Zabaka is a Toydarian, the flying alien species that you might recognize from “Star Wars: Epiode I – The Phantom Menace.” Her stall in the marketplace sells quality, handmade toys that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Travelers can see Zabaka hard at work through her workshop window in the rear of the Toydarian Toymaker shop stall.

Strono “Cookie” Tuggs

The man in charge of Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, “Cookie” travels from system to system to fill his pantry with unique ingredients to make new and unusual dishes. He was once the head chef at Maz Kanata’s castle on Takodana. Fun fact: he has a great love for the holovids of the famous chef Gormaanda (who you might recognize from the infamous “Star Wars Holiday Special”).

Archex

Formerly known as Cardinal, this stormtrooper-turned-Resistance agent from the novel “Phasma” by Delilah S. Dawson whittles all the wooden toys found in Toydarian Toymaker in his spare time.
