To help fans stay connected while staying home, Cirque du Soleil has launched a weekly 60-minute get-together on their new digital content hub, CirqueConnect.
CirqueConnect is where fans can watch moments from Cirque’s world-famous shows from the comfort of home, as the ongoing global health situation has suspended public performances of live entertainment around the world.
Today, on April 3 at 3 p.m. Eastern, CirqueConnect presented a special 60-minute program featuring performances from “Cirque du Soleil Amaluna,” “Volta,” and “Bazzar.”
“The mission of Cirque du Soleil has always been to provide unique and awe-inspiring experiences. Our shows give our fans a chance to escape into fantasy and imaginary worlds through our stories and unique characters,” said Shelia Morin, chief marketing and experience officer. “Now, more than ever, we need to continue to provide wonderment, even from afar, straight into your homes.”
