Compete with your friends at ‘Squid Game: The Trials’ now open in Los Angeles
Fans of the Netflix series “Squid Game” and “Squid Game: The Challenge” can now experience what it would be like to step into one of their favorite series. “Squid Game: The Trials” is now running in Los Angeles, California, and whoever wins in your group is given a rare opportunity as the ultimate prize.

Squid Game: The Trials transports players to the high-stakes Squid Game universe in this thematic competition. Players will be greeted by the Front Man himself, where he dares you to tackle six challenges to accumulate points and earn the spot as ultimate winner.

When you arrive, you’ll be assigned a wristband with a number assigned to you. This number is your identification throughout the challenges and will keep track of your points. Before each new game, players will be ranked on leader monitors to keep track of who’s leading the way.

The games played should be somewhat familiar, even if you’re not familiar with the Squid Game universe. They’re all modeled after familiar games you’ve most likely played as a child.

Memory Steps simply tests your memory as you need to remember patterns on a lit pathway. With Marbles, it tests your skills of marble control. Harvest Festival is an oversized version of the children’s board game, Operation.

With War Ships, the giant projection screen will look familiar to fans of the game Battleship. Red Light Green Light tests how fast and still you can be at a moment’s notice. And finally, Egg & Spoon requires your agility and the ability to outwit your competitors.

The winner of your Trials receives the opportunity to apply on site for the casting of season two of “Squid Game: The Challenge”, with priority review for casting. Think of The Trials as an epic audition process.

Beyond the ultimate winner, other players might find themselves with themed coins as they exit. But these aren’t just souvenir coins to take home with you. You can use these players coins in one of the arcade machines in the Night Market.

The Night Market offers an array of Korean and international sweet and savory food items along with enticing beverages. Also in this space is the aforementioned arcades, a souvenir shop, and photo ops.

Typically, guests experiencing Squid Game: The Trials must hide their phones as no recording is allowed. But Attractions Magazine got special permission to record a sneak peek. Take a look in our YouTube video below.
