Photo Update: Disney’s Coronado Springs construction continues
Construction is well underway on the makeover of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World. In this photo update, we take a quick look at the latest being done on upgrades to the resort.
Work continues on a new 15-story tower that will bring an additional 500 rooms to the resort, with suites and concierge-level services.
The new tower, overlooking Lago Dorado, the resort’s centerpiece lake, will offer a rooftop dining experience with panoramic views of popular nighttime fireworks from nearby Disney theme parks.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will also reimagine its current resort rooms and transform its landscape with floating gardens and an island oasis connected by a series of bridges to other areas of the resort.
The transformation will stay true to the resort theme, reflecting the vibrant spirit of adventure that lived within the Spanish explorers of North America.
No specific completion date has been revealed for these updates to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Stay tuned to our site for more updates as construction nears completion.
