UPDATE – 04/30/20: Crayola Experience has extended the application deadline for the position of Kid Chief Experience Officer for the Day. “Resumes” will now be accepted by position applicants until June 14, 2020.

Applications will be accepted now through April 12, 2020, and five kids will be chosen to spend the day giving feedback and sharing their ‘expert’ recommendations on new and existing attractions, activities, and products.

“Crayola Experience is where the magic of Crayola comes to life,” said Victoria Lozano, senior vice president and general manager of Crayola Experience. “We want kids to be more engaged in the kids of experiences we deliver that will inspired creativity, and our Kid Chief Experience Officers will help us with that.”

The five Crayola Experience locations that will receive these new Kid CEOs are Easton, Pa.; Orlando, Fla.; Bloomington, Minn. (at Mall of America); Plano, Texas; and Chandler, Ariz. Each of the selected CEOs will be responsible for testing and giving feedback on current and future attractions, marketing events, and seasonal activities, as well as helping with potential new products for the Crayola Store. The Kid CEOs will also be given the chance to name a Limited Edition crayon to be sold at the Crayola Store.

“We’re looking for creative young leaders who are not afraid to color outside of the lines, are bursting with ideas, and are able to represent the Crayola spirit with an engaging personality and a lively imagination,” said Lozano. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for aspiring kids to be the boss.”

To apply, parents can submit a 30-90 second video “resume” that shows off their child’s personality as they tell why they are the best choice for the position, as well as describe their idea for making Crayola Experience even more fun for kids.

“We want children’s unfiltered creative ideas, no matter how improbably or impractical they may seem,” said Lozano.

In addition to their CEO experience, each winner chosen will receive a prize package valued at $600, including a Crayola Experience gift card, four Gold annual passes, a package of Crayola 2020 products before they’re available to the general public, and personalized business cards. Each CEO’s school will also get a visit from the Crayola Experience crayon mascot, and every student will get a free ticket to Crayola Experience.

Kids must be ages 6-12 to enter and live within 150 miles of the location for which they are applying. Parents can enter now at CrayolaExperience.com/KidCEO.
