During each sailing, contestants can make a deal – or not! – during live, hosted shows that take place on the Princess Theater stage, with the chance to pay for cash or free cruises in “a suspenseful contest of nerves and raw intuition.”

Guests can use the “case card” to play along, with a buy-in of $25-$50, or be chosen at random as one of two contestants to play live on stage.

Audience members who have purchased a game card have the chance to work toward achieving eight matches to win up to $1,000 or a free cruise.

Majestic Princess, Regal Princess, and Sky Princess will also host the game show, and there are plans to roll it out across the entire fleet.

According to Denise Saviss, vice president of entertainment experiences, the show “offers a unique combination of entertainment and gamification that allows our guests to spectate or participate in an extremely high-quality and realistic live experience of the popular TV game show. This new interactive game show adds to the already impressive lineup of memorable entertainment offerings to be enjoyed on our new Discovery Princess.”

Discovery Princess is the sixth and final ship in the Royal-Class series, featuring the largest balconies at sea in the Sky Suites, the relaxing comforts of The Sanctuary, and world-class dining laid out for its 3,660 guests.

Wearable device, Medallion, enables contactless boarding, interaction with fellow travelers, and enhanced services while on Discovery Princess, and on ships across the fleet.

Discovery Princess will homeport in Port of Los Angeles, with sailings to the Mexican Riviera and California Coast from March 27-April 24, 2022, before heading up the Pacific coast for a full season of seven-day Alaska cruises out of Seattle.
