Details Revealed for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event
Disney fans will gather in Anaheim, Calif., on August 9-11, 2024, for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, a one-of-a-kind multi-day experience showcasing creative storytelling and innovation from across The Walt Disney Company.
In true Disney style, the event formerly known as D23 Expo has been reimagined to be “more expansive and more immersive than ever before,” with showcases, presentations, an expanded show floor, more shopping opportunities, and a week-long celebration leading up to it.
“This August at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we’re excited to give tens of thousands of our biggest fans an experience like no other,” said Asad Ayaz, Chief Brand Officer, The Walt Disney Company. “Disney has the most powerful brands and passionate fans in the world, and we’re taking D23 to a whole new level this year to give them more of what they love from across the worlds of Disney in one incredible weekend.”
Honda Center
For the first time, the Honda Center will be home to three nights of marquee showcases:
- Aug. 9, 2024 – Disney Entertainment Showcase featuring exclusive looks at the movies, series, and stage shows fans love and a glimpse of what’s next.
- Aug. 10, 2024 – Disney Experiences featuring the latest on new and highly anticipated projects in development worldwide for Disney parks, experiences, and beyond.
- Aug. 11, 2024 – Disney Legends Ceremony hosted by Ryan Seacrest and honoring Colleen Atwood, Angela Bassett, Martha Blanding, James L. Brooks, James Cameron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Miley Cyrus, Steve Ditko, Harrison Ford, Mark Henn, Frank Oz, Kelly Ripa, Joe Rohde, and John Williams.

Show Floor
The expanded show floor at the Anaheim Convention Center will feature returning fan favorites, including pavilions from Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Disney+, Marvel Studios, Disney Experiences, and Lucasfilm, and a first-of-its-kind exhibition from the Walt Disney Archives entitled “A Great Big Beautiful Car Show.”
Fans can shop for limited-edition merchandise and collectibles at Mickey’s of Glendale, The Hollywood Studio Store, and The Emporium. The Walt Disney Company Storewill debut with exclusive D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event-branded products.
Guests can also attend specially curated shows, panels, presentations, and conversations with storytellers, creators, and talent, which will take place on five different stages at the Anaheim Convention Center.
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event Transportation
Complimentary round-trip shuttle service will be available between the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center before and after the evening shows. Parking at the Anaheim Convention Center will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional transportation and parking details will be provided closer to the event.
D23 Day at Angel Stadium
The first-ever D23 Day at Angel Stadium will take place on Aug. 4, 2024. The first 23,000 fans through the gate will receive a commemorative one-of-a-kind D23 Mickey Mouse bobblehead.
D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort
Disney fans can kick off D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event at the first-ever D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort on Aug. 8, 2024. The day will feature a custom cavalcade and energetic dance party at Disneyland Park and a music-filled celebration hosted by Disney Junior at Disney California Adventure Park.
Both parks will offer unique photo opportunities, specialty foods, themed merchandise, and more.
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event Ticket Information
D23 will offer several ticketing options to allow fans to build the best itinerary for them.
- D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 1-Day Ticket (starting at $99/ticket) – includes a reserved seat for that date’s evening show at the Honda Center and same-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center
- D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket (starting at $297/ticket) – includes a 3-day assigned seat for evening shows at the Honda Center and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center
- D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket (starting at $999/ticket; exclusive to D23 Gold Members) – includes a 3-day floor seat for evening shows at the Honda Center (same seat each night) and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center
D23 Fan Pass provides access to the Anaheim Convention Center only:
- 1-Day Pass – $89/ticket for General D23 Members and $79/ticket for D23 Gold Members
- 3-Day Pass – $259/ticket for General D23 members and $209/ticket for D23 Gold Members
D23 Gold Members will have first access to a number of 1-day and 3-day tickets for a limited time beginning March 26, 2024, at 12 p.m. PT. D23 Gold and General Members who are also Visa cardholders (who pay with their Visa card) will have pre-sale access to a number of 1-day and 3-day tickets for a limited time, beginning March 27, 2024, at 12 p.m. PT. Tickets for all D23 Gold and General Members will go on sale starting March 28, 2024, at 12 p.m. PT, while supplies last. Attendees must be a D23 Member to purchase tickets.
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event Gold Member Benefits
In addition to an exclusive pre-sale window and discounted tickets, D23 Gold Members can access additional benefits, discounts, and offers from various groups across the show floor and throughout Downtown Disney District. D23 Charter Members who joined D23 in 2009 will have exclusive access to a private lounge off the show floor. For the first time, D23 Gold Members attending the event will receive a commemorative and collectible pin.
Fans can join D23 at General Membership (complimentary), Gold Membership ($99.99/year), or Gold Duo Membership ($129.99/year) levels at D23.com.
The Ultimate Disney Sweepstakes
Fans can enter D23: The Ultimate Disney Sweepstakes – FANtastic Prizes to win exclusive prizes and engaging experiences, including a sailing on the seven-night maiden voyage of the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Treasure.
