Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast in Concert” will come to the Hollywood Bowl this May.

Disney announced this morning that their animated classic, “Beauty and the Beast,” will be told in a brand-new way with two special performances at the Hollywood Bowl on May 25-26, 2018.

These performances, which will take place at 8:15 both evenings, will incorporate the original film with a live orchestra, singing, performances from a star-studded cast and more to give audiences a unique “Beauty and the Beast” experience.

“Like our celebration of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid in Concert’ at the Hollywood Bowl, we are mixing film, live music, singers, dancers, digital projections, effects, and special guest artists to create an event that pays homage to the original movie but also delivers something that can only be experienced live,” said Richard Kraft, concert director. “Our creative mantra for this show has been: ‘We want our audience to be our guests. We have filled up the event course by course, one by one, ’til they shout, enough I’m done!’”

The cast for this unique event includes:

  • Zooey Deschanel as Belle
  • Anthony Evans as Beast
  • Tay Diggs as Gaston
  • Rebel Wilson as LeFou
  • Kelsey Grammer as Lumiére
  • Jane Krakowski as Mrs. Potts

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 16 at 10 a.m. PT. Once on sale, you can purchase your tickets here. Check out the official poster below:
