Need something new to read while staying at home? Disney is offering a free eBook download of “Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen” for a limited time.

Now through April 26, Disney Books is offering a free download of the book for those in the U.S.

Told from her perspective, this story examines the life of the Wicked Queen and uncovers just what makes Her Majesty so vicious. Could it be that the man in the magic mirror isn’t just some spooky apparition, but possibly a bigger part in her wicked ways than we thought?

“I think Disney fans will enjoy all the little nods to the original animated film [‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’],” said author Serena Valentino. “I love really getting to know these characters and exploring why they did the evil things they did. I love dreaming up the backstories of characters I have loved since I was young and finding ways to make them feel more real and realatable.”

This book is the first in Valentino’s Villains series for Young Adults that shares insight into how evil is made, not born.
