‘Disney Genie’ digital planning service coming to Walt Disney World

At the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products panel at D23 Expo 2019, chairman Bob Chapek shared new details on “Disney Genie,” a new digital offering coming to Walt Disney World Resort.

This offering will make its debut in late 2020, and will help make planning Disney trips easier through customized itineraries for each guest – from princess-focused days at Magic Kingdom to a foodie-fueled trip around the world at Epcot’s World Showcase. Certain features of the app will be available through your preferred travel agent.

Guests will be able to tell Disney Genie what they’d like to experience while visiting Walt Disney World, and the service will quickly evaluate millions of options to create the perfect day – and it’s flexible! If you change your mind on any aspect of your plans, Disney Genie will re-optimize the day.

Disney Genie can also send tips and updates in real-time, including recommendations for experiences, help with navigating the parks, and more – and even make reservations for you that require multiple steps.
