Disney Lorcana championship to be held at Disneyland
It was announced today during the Disney Lorcana TCG Challenge in Ghent, Belgium that the location for the Disney Lorcana Challenge championship will be held at the Disneyland Resort.
If you have only just recently learned what Disney Lorcana is from the Epcot activation during the International Festival of the Arts, so the revelation of the existence of a championship may be a little mind boggling. To break it down, thousands of “Illumineers” travel to a location in their region (this weekend it’s the city of Ghent in Belgium) to compete for the title of champion. Attendees can also shop for Lorcana accessories, win prizes in side events, and watch the competition unfold. This weekend at the Disney Lorcana TCG Challenge 2026 in Ghent, Ravensburger (the team behind Lorcana) announced the locations of the North American and European championships. Where they’ll be taking place? Some of the happiest places on Earth.
From Aug. 28 through 30, 2026, the Disneyland Hotel at the Disneyland Resort will house the North American Championship, and tickets go on sale March 22, 2026. Tickets will be $110 for Last Chance Qualifiers and $50 for attendees. For European Lorcana fans, your championship will take place at Disney Newport Bay Club & Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, two of the hotels in the Disneyland Paris resort area, on Sept. 11-13, 2026. Tickets will be 110€ for Last Chance Qualifiers and 50€ for attendees. But what do those tickets get you?

Something that sticks out are the “(2) Attack of the Vine Booster Packs”, as that set of Lorcana was previously announced for Q3 2026, with no specific release date. With a few context clues, we can also assume that set will be released around or by those dates, which is an exciting tidbit for fans.
