Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival to replace Captain EO at Epcot

Captain EO has been running off and on since its return to Epcot in 2010, but guests wanting to change the world one more time don’t have long to do so.

On Dec. 6, 2015, Captain EO will have its final showing ever inside the Magic Eye Theater in the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot. It’s going away to make room for the new Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival, which will feature a look into the creative minds behind some of your favorite animated films. Guests will enter the theater, put on their 3D glasses, and enjoy three animated shorts.
