Starting next year, guests at the Disneyland Resort will be able to experience the park well into the night with the new event series, Disneyland After Dark.
The first event kicks off on Jan. 18, 2018, with Throwback Nite, an homage to the park in its early years. Guests will travel back to the ‘50s and ‘60s dressed in their best, as they enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth after hours. The park will shine under a million twinkling lights, swing along with live bands, and guests will be able to enjoy their favorite rides ‘till the clock strikes 1 a.m.
Original attraction posters will be on display at the front of the park, and guests will be able to take advantage of special photo locations, as well as unlimited downloads with event admission. Live music and dancing will revive the bygone era in the park, with “Fantasy in The Sky” being the perfect finale for the evening.
Guests will receive a commemorative lanyard and a vintage-inspired park map that will feature the special experiences that are available during the event.
Throwback Nite is open to all ages, and will be available to book for Annual Passholders starting Nov. 30, and for the general public on Dec. 7. More Disneyland After Dark events will be available in the future, with each event having its own specific theme.
