The runDisney medals for the 2019 Disneyland Paris Run Weekend have been revealed! From Sept. 19-22, 2019, this year’s event returns with three races and two challenges.
This year’s finisher medals are themed to adventurous Disney characters. Take a look at some of them below:
The event kicks off with the Disneyland Paris 5K, with a “Lion King”-inspired medal and a Peter Pan-inspired medal for the Kids Races. The Disneyland Paris 10K features a medal with characters from Disney’s “Tangled.”
Closing out the weekend the Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon, with a finisher medal featuring Mickey and Minnie.
Runners who complete either of the two challenges, racing through the two parks at Disneyland Paris and the French countryside, will earn a finisher medal celebrating the characters from Disney’s “Aladdin.” Those who complete both the Disneyland Paris 10K and the Disneyland Parks-Val d’Europe for the 31K Challenge will earn a medal featuring Aladdin and the Magic Carpet. Those who go the extra mile and finish the Disneyland Paris 5K, 10K and Val d’Europe during the 36K Challenge will win a medal featuring the Genie.
Finally, runners who complete the half marathon at Disneyland Paris and one of the runDisney races at Walt Disney World Resort in the same calendar year will win the Castle to Château medal.
