Disneyland Resort announces Disney Merriest Nites after hours event

With Halloween festivities already begun at Disneyland Resort, the holidays are just around the corner with the newly-announced Disney Merriest Nites, the first after-hours holiday party to be held at Disneyland park.

This limited-capacity party will be offered as a separately-ticketed event at Disneyland on five select nights in November and December, with parties scheduled for:

  • Nov. 11
  • Nov. 16
  • Nov. 30
  • Dec. 7
  • Dec. 9

Tickets will be available for purchase starting Sept. 14, 2021, no earlier than 9 a.m. PT on Disneyland.com and the Disneyland app. General admission tickets start at $165 per person ages 3 and up.

At Disney Merriest Nites, Mickey Mouse has invited his friends to host six themed parties within one giant celebration throughout Disneyland park. Guests of all ages can enjoy enhanced holiday décor, seasonal entertainment, and specialty food and beverage offerings themed to each party.

As the host, Mickey will welcome guests on Main Street, U.S.A. in true Victorian flair, and Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and their Muppet friends will join in on the fun, traveling in a special coach with Christmas carol sing-alongs, Muppet antics, and a few chickens!

Over in New Orleans Square, Princess Tiana will welcome guests to celebrate Noel with a bayou-inspired celebration. Guests visiting Frontierland will see Miguel from Disney-Pixar’s “Coco” wishing everyone ¡Feliz Navidad! Three more character-hosted parties will await guests, including a tropical party hosted by Lilo & Stitch in Adventureland, a wintertime celebration with Elsa in Fantasyland, and Buzz Lightyear over in Tomorrowland.

Special event merchandise will be available in Disneyland park, with additional seasonal merchandise available throughout the resort. some of these items will include seasonal attire and accessories, pins, plush, and decorative items for home. Guests looking to taste the treats of the holiday season can enjoy multiple food and beverage locations with specialty items and party-themed offerings, as well!

The classic Disneyland holiday offerings like Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle and “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade will also be on the lineup of things to enjoy during Disney Merriest Nites.

The parties start at 8 p.m. PT, and guests will have the chance to enter Disneyland three hours prior to the start of the event. Guests will get to enjoy lower wait times in Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, New Orleans Square and Frontierland as they stroll through each party, but Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Critter Country and Mickey’s Toontown will not be accessible. Themed photo backdrops and unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads will also be included with party admission.
