Disneyland Resort welcomes Ohio State Buckeyes and Utah Utes before 2022 Rose Bowl

Earlier this week, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Utah Utes made their first stop on the way to the 2022 Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, Calif. with a visit to Disneyland Resort!

Before going head-to-head on the field in the New Year’s Day game, the teams held their first pregame appearance — a cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland park.

Featured in the cavalcade was Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, along with Ohio State players CJ Stroud (quarterback), Dawand Jones (offensive lineman), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (wide receiver), and Bryson Shaw (safety). Utah was represented by head coach Kyle Whittingham and players Cameron Rising (quarterback), Britain Covey (wide receiver), Devin Lloyd (linebacker), and Mika Tafua (defensive end).

The Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band also took part in the cavalcade.

Afterward, coaches and players were hosted in the Opera House on Main Street, U.S.A. for media interviews, and then closed out their visit with a group photo with Mickey Mouse himself (shown above).

The two teams will face off in the 108th Rose Bowl Game this Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. This will be Ohio State’s 16th appearance and the Utes’ first in what’s known as “The Grandaddy of Them All” in bowl games.

You can watch the game in a variety of ways, whether it be via cable on ABC or NBC, or through streaming services like Hulu with Live TV or YouTube TV.
