Whether you’re enjoying the views from 40 stories high with a private party of your closest friends, or you want to set the mood for a romantic night out with your partner, guests can now be their own DJ; sip on an adult beverage or soft drink all while being entertained by the views accompanied by their most favorite tunes.

The upgrade includes new media players, audio controls, and even an option to listen to a sightseeing tour of Central Florida that describes sights new and old seen from the Wheel, as well as the history of Orlando’s development as the world’s vacation capital. The audio tour option is conveniently timed with the rotation of The Wheel.

“I like to say that being in a capsule on The Wheel is like gliding in your private comfortable air-conditioned skybox, and now that experience will be personalized even more for our guests,” stated Icon Park president and CEO, Chris Jaskiewicz. “We listened to guests and learned that this is what was needed in Central Florida — be current with technology and let guests play their own music.”

The walkable, 20-acre Icon Park is at the heart of the new Orlando Entertainment District on International Drive. With over 40 restaurants and attractions, free parking, and its convenient location near I-4, Universal Boulevard, and the Beachline, this premiere entertainment destination is easy to access for any Orlando resident or tourist.
