Dollywood expands one-day-only themed experience
Within days of Dollywood and Allegiant announcing a special “fan flight” from Orlando to Tennessee, fans bought every single ticket. Thankfully, a second flight has been added, allowing even more travelers to take advantage of the exclusive opportunity.

Fly with Dollywood
The flights, cleverly named Allegiant flights #925 and #2925 after Dolly Parton’s infamous song “9 to 5,” will both take off on Nov. 6, 2026, from Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) in Sanford, Fla. After in-flight Dolly Parton-themed activities and entertainment, passengers will arrive at McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, Tenn. This airport is located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, about an hour from Dollywood’s Pigeon Forge location.
“Allegiant tells us the Dollywood-themed flight was one of the fastest selling flights in their history,” said Eugene Naughton, Dollywood Parks & Resorts president. “Because it was so popular, we know some guests missed out, and we want to provide more opportunities for Allegiant passengers to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of Tripadvisor’s #1 U.S. theme park. We’re excited to work with Allegiant on a second Dollywood-themed flight from Sanford to McGhee Tyson Airport.”
Some of the Dollywood-themed entertainment passengers can expect will include gate celebrations, live entertainment, in-flight trivia, exclusive merchandise, and themed food and drinks. Any passengers looking to attend Dollywood after landing can enjoy a special experience on Nov. 7, should they purchase park tickets.
Special perks for passengers who purchase Dollywood tickets
Once Dollywood tickets have been purchased by flight #925 and #2925 passengers, they will receive complimentary exclusive ride time opportunities. There will also be special treats, reserved show seating, and more. This time of year will fall during the park’s Smoky Mountain Christmas. This holiday event is a 15-time winner of the Golden Ticket Award for Best Theme Park Christmas Event.

Interested travelers can now purchase tickets from Allegiant. After the transaction is complete, Allegiant will send passengers a link to purchase an exclusive Dollywood package.
The offer includes:
- Up to 25% off each night (Nov. 6 and Nov. 7) at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa or Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort
- A $100 credit for food & beverage or merchandise at the resorts
- Two Dollywood tickets
- Transportation to the park

‘Excited to welcome our Orlando-area friends’
“We’re honored that Allegiant asked Dollywood Parks & Resorts to partner with them for their first-ever themed flight for fans,” said Eugene Naughton, president of Dollywood Parks & Resorts. “This route to Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport is among Allegiant’s most popular, so creating a Dollywood-themed flight made perfect sense. Guests aboard flight #925 [and #2925] will enjoy a fast — and fun — way to reach the Smokies, where they can experience NightFlight Expedition, our brand-new adventure coaster, along with our award-winning Christmas festival featuring more than six million lights. We’re excited to welcome our Orlando-area friends with several exclusive, behind-the-scenes park experiences to add even more memories to their Smoky Mountain vacation.”

Hooray for Dollywood ! Especially for offering a premium experience at a very affordable price. The Orlando theme parks have just gotten to go to anymore, Disney especially. Just 20 short years ago my wife an I could drive to WDW, stay at Coronado Springs, with room, tickets, an food never spent over $1,200 for a four day trip … not anymore.
