Ducati, one of the world’s well-known motorcycle manufacturers, has signed on with Parques Reunidos to develop a themed Ducati World at Mirabilandia in Italy.

Mirabilandia, located in the Emilia-Romagna region where Ducati was created, is the second-largest theme park in Italy, as well as the second most-visited Parques Reunidos park.

Visitors to Mirabilandia will be able to enjoy this Ducati experience, which will occupy 35,000 square meters. It is expected to open to the public in 2019.

Ducati World will be the first themed area after a motorcycle brand, attracting motorcycle fans from Italy and abroad. The park will incorporate the latest technology into its attractions, which will include a new generation roller coaster that is said to replicate the experience of riding on a motorcycle. Guests will also be able to enjoy simulators, virtual reality and children’s attractions in the park.

This new agreement with Ducati also includes plans for a showroom where guests can view Ducati models, as well as learn about motorcycling history and the socio-cultural impact of the Italian brand’s 90 years of operation.

The park will also include a new Ducati shop, where guests can buy a variety of official Ducati and Ducati Scrambler merchandise, as well as themed restaurants.
