Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off Feb 28 with new topiaries
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off Feb. 28, 2024, with new topiaries featuring characters from “Wish,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and “Coco.”

Beginning Feb. 28, 2024, you won’t be able to miss the topiaries of Asha, Valentino, and the Wishing Star from “Wish,” who will be there to greet you at the main entrance to Epcot.

In World Discovery, you’ll find a Groot topiary near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Groot is from the species called the flora colossus, which can grow branches and flowers, making him a perfect addition to Epcot’s flower and garden-themed festival. And over in Mexico, you’ll find Miguel and Dante from “Coco.”
These new additions won’t be all you see at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Throughout the entire park you’ll find over 70 different themed topiaries surrounded by various plants and flowers. If you’re looking for Figment this year, he’ll be over in the new World Celebration Gardens.
In addition to the flower and garden-themed decor, this festival also features themed food, drinks, a scavenger hunt, merchandise, concerts, and more.
The Garden Rocks Concert Series Returns
Several Garden Rocks favorites will be returning to Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival, as well as a few fresh faces, including Modern English, Crowder, Lit, and Monsieur Perine. Also (and for the first time) Raul Acosta & Oro Solido will be on stage with Magic Juan. He will then return the next day with Luisito Ayala and The Puerto Rican Power Band.

All concerts take place daily on the stage in The American Gardens Theater. To guarantee you get a seat, you can book a dining package beginning Feb. 6, 2024. If seating fills up, there will be areas in the American Adventure pavilion to stand, and enjoy the concert as well.
Festive Flower & Garden Food and Fun
Many garden fresh favorites will be returning (and of course some new options as well). Booths will be set up around the park featuring themed dishes, wines, beers, cocktails, and more, with most booths located in World Showcase. A full menu will be released soon.

While sipping and eating around the world, make sure to look for Spike the Bee, and to make Spike’s Pollination Exploration a little more official, purchase a scavenger hunt map and collect a prize.

Guests visiting the park near Easter can also hunt for 12 Disney bunny-inspired eggs hidden throughout the park in an Egg-stravaganza Hunt, which also come with a prize if you purchase a map.
Both scavenger hunts are available while supplies last. Prizes can be redeemed at Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler at International Gateway (even if you didn’t find them all). Just make sure to collect your prizes before the festival ends.
Explore and learn about nature at Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival
While at the festival, don’t forget to literally stop and smell the flowers at Blossoms of Fragrance. Then head over to Butterfly Landing to see the lifecycle of a butterfly, from a chrysalis to a beautiful butterfly. This walk-through butterfly house is filled with flowers and butterflies (and, of course, amazing picture opportunities).

If the little ones need to exert some energy, they’ll love Camp Get Out N’ Play Garden. Here, families will find a camp-themed garden where kids can jump, play, climb and explore this area.
New merchandise will be available at Epcot and online
Orange bird, Coco, and Minnie Mouse are just a few characters that will be showcased on Epcot’s International Flower & Garden merchandise this year. Annual Passholders will also find a new collection featuring Spike the Bee.
If you can’t make it to the festival this year, some of the festival merchandise will be available on shopDisney beginning March 4, 2024.
