The holiday season kicks off in spectacular style as World of Illumination presents the world’s largest drive-through light show, Candy Rush, featuring hundreds of festive animated displays synchronized to beloved Christmas tunes.
The parking lot at Six Flags White Water in Marietta, Ga., has transformed into a glittering vista of millions of colorful lights, hundreds of animated displays, and a 500-foot-long LED tunnel that acts as Santa’s magical portal, with the all-new drive-through light show, Candy Rush.
Among the show’s most dramatic elements are larger-than-life sweets and treats, sugar plum fairies, a delightful gingerbread village, a trio of 40-foot-tall candy canes, and surprise appearances by popular characters from Christmas tales, all viewed from within the safety of your own vehicle, so no facial coverings required!
World of Illumination co-founder Yakir Urman shares his excitement: “We are thrilled to present Candy Rush to Marietta and the surrounding area. We use state of the art technology that will transport you into a dazzling world of visual arts and music, all while ensuring the safety of our guests. Buckle up and prepare for the ride of your life!”
Shows run nightly from 6-10p.m. nightly through Jan. 3, and, at over one mile long, the experience lasts approximately 30 minutes. To ensure a touchless, COVID-safe experience, and to keep wait times low, online reservations are required in advance.
Guests can enhance their experience with add-ons at check-out, such as holographic 3D glasses or a Santa’s Sweets Package snack box, each available for pick-up upon entry into the attraction. Visit on Magic Mondays, when Santa will be on hand to wave at guests, or book your reservation for Golden Ticket Tuesdays, and you may win a prize values at $50-$500!
Admission starts at $35 (plus tax) per car on weeknights, and $45 plus tax on weekends and holidays. To purchase tickets and reserve a time slot, visit WorldofIllumination.com. A portion of ticket sales benefit the Make-A-Wish Georgia Foundation.
