Famous felines converge in Pasadena at CatCon 2019 on June 29-30

Celebrity cats and and their fans will pounce on the Pasadena Convention Center when the fifth annual CatCon returns to California on June 29-30, 2019.

Pasadena will purr when the fifth annual CatCon arrives on June 29 and 20.

CatCon, which call itself ‘the world’s biggest cat-centric pop culture event,’ is attracting attendees from 45 states, 621 cities and 11 countries. Attendees at the two-day event will celebrate all-things feline and help find forever homes for over 200 adoptable animals from Best Friends Animal Society.

The convention weekend will include 200 exhibitors, immersive experiences, Insta-moments (celebricat meet-ups, photo/gif booths, kitty cosplay), lectures (from DIY to pet health and wellness), community and meet-ups, and one of the biggest adoption lounges ever.

A highlight of CatCon 2019 is the opportunity to meet internet-famous “celebricats” such as Sukiicat, BenBen, The Dark Lord, Pudge the Cat, and Sir Thomas Truehart. Special meet and greet tickets may be purchased in advance for certain cats.

Human talent scheduled to attend includes Cats of Instagram (10 million followers), Dr. Marty Becker (“America’s Vet”), YouTube’s “Aaron’s Animals” (1.7 million subscribers), The Purrrcast, and Shelly Roche (“TinyKittens”).

Featured seminars and workshops at CatCon 2019 will include the inaugural CatCon VideoFest, awarding the best cat videos on the Internet; a Furrocious Fashion Face-Off runway show; and a ‘Living Nine Lives to the Fullest’ lecture on adventure cats who travel the world with their humans.

CatCon 2019 will be held at the Pasadena Convention center on Saturday, June 29 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT, and Sunday, June 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
