First-look at the new Epcot entrance fountain spires

What’s old is new again, as Imagineer Zach Riddley shared a first look at the new Epcot entrance fountain pylons that replace the original ones that used to be there. It’s all part of a reimagining of Epcot’s Future World.

As part of the ongoing construction in the Future World part of Epcot, the park entrance area will be renamed World Celebration. The Leave-A-Legacy monuments have already been removed and replaced with planters, and the fountain up by Spaceship Earth is being redone.

When the park first opened, the fountain included three see-through spires or pylons, and those are being replaced. Here are some nighttime shots Riddley posted to his Instagram page, which were then shared by Disney Parks Blog:

For now, the fountain remains behind construction walls as they finish working on it. There’s no word on when it will be fully revealed.
