The horses of both the Pony Farm and Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will receive a brand-new barn next year.

Imagineers have redesigned the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, which will be transformed into a modern stable with updated outdoor spaces and facilities for the horses. The new ranch will still have that same spirit of the original, and will host exhibits of Disney equestrian artifacts dating back to the 1950s.

Starting Aug. 19, the Draft Horse Barn and Pony Farm will temporarily close until the new barn opens in spring 2020. Guests will still be able to take pony rides at the Trail Blaze Corral near the Fort Wilderness campground entrance, and the resort’s trail and carriage rides will still operate normally.
