Four Seasons Resort Orlando fed Phil
Capa Steakhouse at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort was featured on the hit Netflix show “Somebody Feed Phil.”

The resort’s one Michelin-starred rooftop steakhouse, that recently unveiled enhancements to the kitchen and dining experience, was featured in season seven of the food-focused “Somebody Feed Phil,” as Phil Rosenthal visited notable dining spots in Orlando.

The “Somebody Feed Phil” crew visited Four Seasons Resort Orlando last summer as part of an episode of the unscripted and unrehearsed food and travel series. Capa Steakhouse is featured as the location for the “final meal” of the episode.

Phil Rosenthal and his crew explored Orlando’s “lesser-known and multicultural food scene,” from Michelin-starred Capa to immigrant-owned businesses and multicultural/fusion restaurants favored by locals, highlighting Orlando’s growing position as a “foodie city.”
“I see the food scene here just getting better and better,” said Chef Yamuel Bigio of Crocante, whosePuerto Rican restaurant in downtown Orlando is also showcased in the episode. “It just gets more interesting as we go, and I’m just really happy to be part of it.”
“The world comes to Orlando,” added Orlando Sentinel Food and Dining Reporter Amy Drew Thompson. “So, it’s not surprising that Orlando is a world city [when it comes to food.]”
Renovated Dining Room and Kitchen
Keeping in line with Capa’s Spanish-influenced cuisine, the updated look for the 17th-floor restaurant was inspired by Spanish performers like matadors and flamenco dancers, with all-new seating areas – including cozy banquettes in the main restaurant and bold red bar stools – and new artwork, including Spanish fans made of a reflective custom-painted laser-cut metal.

“The vibrant red fan art extending along the ceiling in the main dining area is reminiscent of the flaring of a flamenco dancer’s dress, allowing freedom of movement throughout space,” notes Kristen Emory, lead senior interior designer. “Intentional textures and fabric patterns, elaborate carpet design, and art elements emulate the ornate detailing found in the matador’s traje de luces, or “suit of lights.”

In addition, the kitchen was expanded, with the wood-burning grill in the center, surrounded by white marble shelving, and custom refrigeration units to showcase Capa’s premium cuts of meat.
Capa Awarded Prestigious Spain Certification
Known for prime meats cooked over a wood-burning grill, fresh seafood, and Spanish tapas, Capa was also recently awarded the prestigious “Restaurants from Spain” certification from the Spanish Embassy.

This certification recognizes restaurants in the U.S. that represent traditional Spanish menu items and incorporate authentic products imported from Spain. The certification committee determined that Capa’s menu is comprised of 48 percent Spanish dishes, including Spanish Iberico ham, charcuterie, Marcona almonds, sherry vinegar, Pimenton de la vera smoked paprika, and Spanish cheeses.
“I am immensely proud of Capa for receiving official certification as a Restaurant from Spain,” says Capa Chef Malyna Si. “This accreditation reflects the hard work the team puts in not only to create the most delicious, beautifully presented dishes, but also […] sourcing authentic food items to ensure the Capa Steakhouse experience as a Spanish-influenced restaurant is truly the best it can be.”
The certificate is displayed in the entryway alongside the restaurant’s Michelin star plaques for 2022 and 2023.
