Frosty the Snowman to visit Gaylord Palms as part of this year’s ICE! event
Starting Nov. 23., Gaylord Palms Resort brings the icy North Pole to Central Florida and everyone’s favorite snowman will be joining the festivities.
Frosty the Snowman will be featured in a colorfully frozen retelling of the original Christmas classic. More than 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures will bring your favorite scenes to life in a 9-degree frosty palace, so you’ll want to bundle up (oversize parkas provided).
New in 2013, the Frostbite Factory featuring Artisans in Action – a live ice-carving zone – allows you to get up close to watch a masterful ice carver from Harbin, China as he creates amazing sculptures before your eyes. He is part of a team of 40 talented artisans who travel from Harbin to work meticulously for more than a month to slice and shave 6,000 blocks of colored and clear ice, each weighing approximately 400 pounds.
Guests can also purchase Gingy’s Gingerbread Decorating experience. Hosted by Gingy from DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek, this traditional encounter offers several different design options. After you’ve decorated to your heart’s content, make your way to meet Gingy for a hug that you can capture with your own camera.
Christmas at Gaylord Palms features more than 2 million twinkling lights and lavish holiday displays, including a 54-foot-tall Christmas tree in a tree-lighting ceremony; DreamWorks Animation characters; and live entertainment that crowds have grown to love: the spirited Luminescence show in Emerald Bay Plaza and carolers will generate the spirit of Christmas.

It’s interesting that there’s no mention that Frosty was created by Rankin Bass.
We would like a price for the ice show on 25 dec 2013 for 4 adults plus one child of 6 and one infant age 21 months. If the show is not available on this day please give timetable of performances. We would also like information regarding eating at your venue.

Rosa, I didn’t see a reply but hope you found the info you needed. If not, go to: https://www.marriott.com/hotel-info/mcogp-gaylord-palms-resort-and-convention-center/christmas-at-gaylord-palms/csyr9pd/ice.mi
Be aware they charge for parking as well, regardless if you see ICE! or not. Last time I went it was $15 on top of the ticket price, per car.
Can I park somewhere near there and walk in?
