Funko celebrated the opening of the new retail space with a special VIP preview event on Nov. 7, 2019.

Funko CEO Brian Mariotti was in attendance, alongside celebrity guests Zoe Saldana, Lauren Ash, Charlie Benante, Nichole Bloom, Kate Flannery, Tess Holliday, Marty Krofft, Jeremy Maguire, Cassandra Peterson, Grace Sharer, Stephen Sharer, Robert Turbin, Keith L. Williams, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Hudson Yang, and more.

Guests who attended the VIP preview event got to enjoy Shake Shack burgers and ice cream from Ample Hills Creamery as they got a first look at the 40,000 square-foot store before it opened to the public.

Funko Hollywood isn’t just your average retail store — it’s an immersive experience packed with life-size Funko statues and sets inspired by pop culture fandom, like “Guardians of the Galaxy,” DC Comics, Disney, “Black Panther,” and more. Funko’s first and original store, located at the company’s headquarters in Everett, Wash., is another destination for pop culture enthusiasts.
