Stormtroopers to invade the History Center this weekend
501st Legion Stormtroopers are taking over the museum during Galactic Encounter Day at the Orange County Regional History Center this Saturday. See the 501st Legion: Vader’s Fist march through Heritage Square and into the museum at 11 a.m.
Explore a Tusken Raider Camp, build your own light saber, step onto planet Hoth and meet a Wampa, and enjoy refreshments from the Blue Milk Café, such as “Yoda Soda,” “Wookie Cookies” and “Jawa Juice.”
You can also visit the Lego play area and learn from a Lego Master Builder, see helmet designs worn by Rebel Alliance Starfighter Pilots, and make sure you don’t miss a photo opportunity with Tarfful and other favorite Star Wars characters.
It all takes place from 10:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 and Stormtroopers will march through Heritage Square at 11 a.m.
The Orange County Regional History Center is located at 65 East Central Blvd., at the corner of Magnolia Ave., in downtown Orlando.
