Gatorland to celebrate 75th anniversary with Gatorpalooza
Gatorland will mark 75 years in Orlando, Fla. this May with Gatorpalooza, a birthday celebration included with park admission.

Gatorpalooza will take place May 18-19, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The birthday bash will include a live DJ, craft vendors, artisans, and games. In addition, the Gatorland vlog team will participate in unique activities each day.

On May 18, 2024, they’ll take on the Gatorland “Florida Man” Challenge. The inaugural challenge in 2021 featured swimming through a swamp and boating across a like while guests threw hot dogs at competitors, among other tasks (see video below).
On May 19, 2024, the Gatorland vlog team will ride a mechanical alligator.
“We are excited beyond belief to be celebrating 75 amazing years in our central Florida community,” said Mark McHugh, president and CEO of Gatorland. “It’s a real joy to share this historic event with all our friends and visitors who have supported us and watched us grow all these years.”
Gators Old and Young
For first-time guests, or those who haven’t visited Gatorland in a while, Gatorpalooza offers an opportunity to be introduced to Mystic, a rare leucistic alligator born in December.
“Leucistic alligators have bright white skin, created by a genetic condition, surrounding deep blue eyes. They have signs of pigmentation, mostly splotches of dark coloration around the head,” according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Guests can also see veteran park resident Jawlene occupying a new home, or embark upon the Croc Rock adventure experience, which opened last year.
Gatorland Tickets
