For 20 years, the Gaylord hotels in Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Colorado, and Maryland have brightened the holiday season with their larger-than-life, themed ice sculpture showcase, bringing favorite holiday stories to life in frozen form.

Due to a two-year pandemic-enforced hiatus, Ice! has been on hold. Now, each of the hotels will put 10 million pounds of sculpted ice on display once again, as part of their Christmas at Gaylord Hotels annual event.

Each hotel will offer a different experience through the stories their ice sculptures will tell. This year’s lineup is:

Gaylord Opryland – Ice! Featuring “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Join Rudolph and his friends in an icy world as they discover their unique gifts and help Santa fulfill his Christmas mission.

Gaylord Texan – Ice! Featuring “The Polar Express.” Take a train “journey of imagination” to the North Pole, filled with friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.

Gaylord Palms — Ice! Featuring “How The Grinch Stole Christmas!” Go from full-on Grinch to a heart that grows “three sizes” as Who-ville residents prepare for a joyous holiday in this re-telling of a Dr. Seuss classic.

Gaylord Rockies — Ice! Featuring “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Charlie Brown and his friends discover the true meaning of Christmas in a timeless tale.

Gaylord National — Ice! Featuring “A Christmas Story.” Relive the movie’s iconic scenes, including the famous “leg lamp.”
